Standard Competencies

:

To know, understand, and appreciation  about some contemppary issues in  Islamic Studies, and to analyze it  objectively critically and comprehensive, and promote some  alternative solutions.

 

Basic Competencies

:

To describe some contemporary issues in Islamic Studies asdeveloped in Islamic World   generally and especially in Indonesia.

Result of Learning

:

1.Explaination about definition, sources, prinsips, vission, mission, goal, target and method about contemporary issues in Islamic Studies.

2. To identify some contemporary issues in Islamic Studies,

After discussion all of  those subjects, all students will get some competencies, as follow:

1.      To explain understanding, goal, scopes, and method in learning some contemporary issues in Islamic studies.

2.      To explain some challenges and opportunies of Islamic Studies in Globalization Era.

3.      To explain the prosses of intering of Islamic Studies in Curriculla at the General School.

4.      To explain the development of Islamic Studies Tipologies in In  the Higher Islamic Education (Ulum al-Din, al-Fikr al-Islami and Islamic Studies).

5.      Islamic Studies in rational, cultural dan transformatif views.

6.      To explain about development of Islamic Studies in the West.

7.      To explain about development of Islamic studies in somes educational institution  under  the Islamic Community Organization:Muhammadiyah, NU, Persis, and others.

8.      To explain about character of Islamic Studies in Madrasah and the General School Education.

9.      To explain about the radicalism, extrimism and exlusive Islam.

10.  To explain the phenomena of increasing of Majelis Ta’lim (non formal of the Islamic Institutional education) in urban society.

11.  To explain the phenomena of increasing of  the spiritual Islamic Education (Majelis Ta’lim (non formal Islamic Institutional education) in urban society.

12.  To explain the phenomena of increasing of the Majelis Zikir  (non formal Islamic Institutional education) in urban society.

13.  To explain about influence of Science and High Technology in understanding of Islamic Studies.

14.  To explain about the funtion of Islamic Education in developing good  character and nation good moral.

15.  To describe the position of Islamic Studies as distinction of excellent School.

16.  To explain about the degradation of communities interesting toward in  Islamic Studies Program in Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Junior High School) and  an Islamic Higher Education.

III.Goal of Subject

To make all students has deeply, comprehensive, and holistic understansing of contemporary issues in Islamic Studies and has competencies in analying it,  in critisism, and objective,  and  original conclussion and get wisdem in it, and can implemented it in concordance with Indonesian values.

V.Approach and Method:

 

The approaches which used in this subject is approaches of adult teaching and learning proccess or what we called andragogy approach. This approach used base on the assumsion that all student has enough competencies to learn by them self toward the final goal of education. Based on this approach, this subject will use some methods as follow: lecturing,  discussion, seminar, cooperative and interactive learning, and other.

Based in this approach and method, the strategy which will use as follow: 

 

1.      The firt lecturing will use explorating, explanation, question and unswer,  in according to give orientation and lecturing contract that made between teacher and student.

2.      The second meeting and further until finishing lecturing of this lecturing will use:exploration, discussion, seminar, question and unswer and other those base on studies activities.

 

3.      All student obligated to make paper at leest ten pages and presented it in power point perform in front of student and to discussed togethe
